Fall didn’t officially start, but September did and I think that’s a good excuse to start fall decor in our home.
If you follow me for a while you know me by now, I like my decor to be always out of the box or at least I try hehhehe. The inspiration for this decor was my Missoni wallpaper. So my colors are mint green, blush pink, Lavender and of course touches of gold.
The best way to add some lavender color is to decorate with some lavender flowers to get this gorgeous pop of color.
And that’s the wallpaper I was talking about, the pictures don’t do it justice. It is very calming beautiful pastel colors with a shimmery texture.
I got these mirrored frames from Homegoods and I removed the glass of the frames ( so I can get the texture and shimmer of the wallpaper) and glued the wallpaper to the back of the cardboard that comes with the frames, and voila. I’m planning to use them later on the other wall with some huge wall art in the middle.
I got all these pumpkins either from Homegoods or from Marshalls except the one that I DIYed and I will link at the end of the post same decor or similar ones.
To get some warm feeling with these pastel colors, I added my favorite blush pink fur runner and folded in two to fit on my mantel.
As for these gold and silver pumpkins and autumn leaves, I got them from the dollar tree and spray painted them with Rustoleum spray paint from HomeGoods.
And yes this Thankful wreath was another DIY project and it only cost me 5 dollars. I got the wired wreath, pumpkins, and leaves from the Dollar Tree as for the Thankful word from Target.
The pumpkins in the below two pictures are also made by me.
How about you, do you like traditional fall decor or you like to give it a bit of twist?
